Guild Wars 2

i mentioned Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2 in TS, some knew it, some didnt. Making a post to show off Guild Wars 2 which should be out sometime by the end of the year. its an MMORPG (like WoW and Old Republic), except no monthly fees.

Guild wars 2 closed beta videos are out. There was a short time frame to sign up for a chance to get invited in, that just ended. If its like the first Guild Wars, there will be an open beta when for anyone when it gets closer to going "gold".

Guild Wars 2 beta videos:

since Guild Wars closed beta has started, videos are coming out showing off actual gameplay of different professions (8 character classes) and races (5 races). the best videos so far seem to be by 2 guys from the UK. the commentary is funny. Each video is 8 to 15 minutes long.

Well its a good thing, sign up is now closed. :angry: Thinking I am gonna give this game a shot.

I also applied for the beta a few days ago. I never played guild wars before but it looks fun.

pick your profession, then your main and offhand weapons, and watch the first 5 skill slots populate with skills for that waepon. also able to load summon weapons to see those skills. load up attributes and traits, etc.

Guild Wars 2 "extended Experience"


Guild Wars 2 will have out-of-game web and mobile apps that will connect you to things and people in the game. Things like having access to the Auction House, chat with people while they are in game, a "Hero Viewer", a detailed "Map Viewer" to see friends move about the world and see dynamic events happen in real time.....
