If i were you i'd have a look at a pair of Audiotechnica ATH-AD700 (and get a cheap mic).
According to head-fi these are the best headphones on the market for gaming (for the price).
Not wireless, but who wants to be swapping batteries halfway a game, or worse, put them in their loading station for 4 hours?

mind, they're open headphones! nice if you want to be able to hear the telephone, not nice if your gf is sitting in the same room watching a movie.

    Yes, I do.

You should put wireless headsets in a jute bag, throw in a nest of kittens or sum for ballast, and fling it into the nearest body of water (ie. lake, canal, river..). A puddle is not recommended except when that puddle is on a construction site or quarry with a lot of huge bulldozers creeping around.

A wood chipper can work wonders as well. They say you don't have to throw 'em in a bag with added kittens but it never hurts to do so I guess.

What ever you decide to do, don't microwave them! I can't stress this enough for all the food that you will place in there after will have a bit off taste for at least a couple of days but probably weeks.

Get a good pair of headphones and then just use a regular old microphone....seinheiser is a good brand IMO

    Sennheiser is absolutely tittays!

Even better yet, get a pair of Sennheiser PC-330, 350 or 360's depending on your audio tastes and budget. Keep in mind your headphones are only going to be as good as your sound card. Don't invest a lot in a pair of decent headphones if you're going to use on-board audio.
