    hi guys,

i'm searching for a new notebook, i will spend around the $850 to maximum of $950 for it.
now i dont know anything about it so i will esk you for some help.
as brand i am looking for a acer or a asus i think, other suggestions are also welcome.

i need it for 3d modeling and play some games, music and movies so i think it should be fast with a nice video card and i guess its al 64bit processor or something.

    thanks

In that price range I would recommend the HP Envy line (depending on what size display you wanted...13, 14, 15"). Do you a little quick Google'n are you can find 15% off Envy coupon codes pretty easy.

If you do go with a HP make sure you get a notebook from the Envy line, the non-Envy notebooks are pretty poo-poo in comparison ;)

Yes, there are nearly a dozen solid remote desktop clients for Android. Just check the Android market for the one that best suites your needs ;)

I haven't tried with TeamViewer but I know that you can with Spashtop, you can access your media files on your PC and view/listen to them on your Android device.

Same. It's possible to stream the sound, I've just never actually done it.

ok, that would be awesome thanks both.

so i don't have a tablet yet but which one would you guy recommend?
    Samsung galaxy tab 10.1
    Apple ipad 2
    Asus EEE Pad
    Acer Iconia Tab

and do i best buy a 16gb 32gb or 64gb tablet, my thoughts go out to the 16gb because i will still use it with my notebook. or it has to be that a 16gb goes easily full with random stuff like apps and maybe a game or something what comes in the near future.

    thanks again

The ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime is in the same price range as the Samsung Galaxy 10.1, I would go for a ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime (serious computing power on that device).

Are you looking for a tab that is available through your wireless mobile provider?

FWIW, I had the prime... for 13 days. It's a great device and considering it's the same pricepoint as the galaxy tab, it's worth it.

It does have drawbacks though. The wireless on it is crap. I didn't want to believe it myself. I even purchased another AP for my house to see if it would get better... it didn't. Wifi is crap on this device. There are others, most can be resolved by rooting and installing a rom. There is a pretty decent dev following for the prime.
