But, the product itself, the idea around it makes sense. Staring at the screen for long periods of time definitely strains the eyes. I get headaches from staring at the computer for a while.
And the idea behind their products backs these issues. I haven't done much research on it or heard reviews, but it makes sense that it would work.
If you spend a lot of time gaming I would for sure pick up a pair. This is assuming, of course, that they work. When you're gaming, you're focusing a lot harder for longer periods of time. Non-gamers, even if they use the computer all day, don't spend their time straining and focusing at small points on the screen and instead use the computer from a wider perspective. Managing the whole screen while working, typing, etc wouldn't strain your eyes.

Anyways, my 2 cents. I may pick up a pair after doing some research. Or, better yet, wait until the next model so they fix the tiny things wrong. If there are any. This is a kind-of new concept. Sunglasses have been around for a while, but computer glasses may have to fit a slightly different baseline for usage.

EDIT2 - They can make prescription lenses, too. Which is perfect for me. I have an astigmatism and my contacts are only comfortable for a few hours. I could wear my contacts the first part of the day (classes, social) and then take them out before they become disruptive and use the GUNNAR glasses instead of fighting my contacts like I do all through the night using my PC.
