I can play two to three games before it locks up then locks up my computer.

It doesn't matter how many other programs I'm running.

    What did I screw up?

Need a better description of lockup. Is the game crashing to desktop, or stuck on black loading screen, or total shutdown, or disconnected from ea?

It freezes, then a second later everything goes to a black screen. I have to hard shut down to get the computer running again.

EDIT: If I can hit Crtl Alt Del fast enough, I can end BF3 without having to restart.

How much available system memory are you running?

Actually listing the rest of your system specs would be very useful.

Any time I have game crash issues, I verify all of my drivers (ALL of them, including sound card, mother board, and any other obscure piece of hardware I own) are up to date. If I still have problems, I look through the official forums about people complaining of crashes, and try to compare similar hardware, software, and driver versions to look for any correlations of issues. If this doesnt work, I will downgrade driver versions to last known stable versions, or try out beta versions of drivers. 90% of all crash issues I have ever had were bad versions or changes with sound and video drivers (for sound card drivers, Ive had to swiitch between different versions of manufacturers drivers and just default Windows drivers as well). The other 10% were completely obscure fucking bugs that were near impossible to troubleshoot.

Purchased & installed - my computer is faster than Equi in the gloryhole stall now!

We'll see how the game pans now.

    Bender - I'm running 7 inch meatwhistle into my bum, a 940 (?) cpu, a couple gtx 550 (?) cards, and 16 1066mghz of ram.

Since it appears to run for a bit, then dies that might mean that your system is suffering from a temperature issue (i.e., chaffing or skin flaking off due to friction burns) or your system resources are being used up.

Have you physically sprayed your manseed over kr0me's face lately? Dust bunnies are a possibility.

Is it possible that you may have picked up a virus (AIDS) or other slutware?

Try running a tool like PECKERMON (Google it) while running your game. If you see that your kleenexbox running out of resources, this may indicate where your tissue is.

Unfortunately, your description of the homosexual experience is fairly unspecific, so it could also be that some component of your tripod midget is on it's last leg.
