I have a logitech g500, the front foot is wearing fast. I use a steelseries hard surface mouse "pad". It's starting to "drag". Can anyone recommend what I should replace the old feet with. I've read some of the googles, but want to know how you guys have handled this. Can I simply remove the feet, and play barefooted, since the surface I use is hard, like my Boner.

No you can't. There's way too much contact surface area without the feet. As far as replacing the feet goes, I have no idea. I would contact Logitech about that.
It may be time for a new mouse. Grab a Cyborg RAT5, 7, or 9. I have a RAT7 and it's tits. 100% official tits.

yeah, i would contact logitech about that. i have a g500 as well and if it started falling apart this early, I would have some beef. Ive heard good things about logitech, and you might be able to get a free replacement if you are able to smooth talk them since its a legit wear problem, even if its past warranty.

No big tits for the rat mouse! It looks cool, but seems to have cheap buttons, (i have my second, with button problems).
The laser gets dirty very easy, have to blow this basterd every day.
It's a mouse with horizontal buttons and a central laser. Coming from a curved G500 with a front laser, that's quite a big step.
I'm waiting for the Thermaltake Level 10 M gaming mouse and hope it get's reviewed as good as it looks, so my rat can go in my box of spares.
As for the feet, just go to your local hardware store, and peel them from one they have for show. (but don't say i said that).

Yeah, I've had mine for over a year now without issues. Sure, you have to keep the mouse pad clean for dust interference. All high DPS mice are like that.
Get out of the desert or clean the semen off your mouse pad.

It's not very good. At least, it's a bit overhyped and overpriced. Are you looking for a new headset?

I have a set. I enjoy the hardware and sound and wirelessness. But, every update (nvidia, bf3, windows, firefox, flash) fucks them up. Currently right speaker no workie, and I haven't figured out a fix yet. I've done everything except wear them backwards. I'm afraid that would lead to more problems.

I'm on my 2nd mouse7. returned the 1st one to the shop because the left button died. The new rat i have refuses to click one f it's thumb buttons. I had many other mice, but never had problems with buttons within 5 years.
did you ever try to open the damn thing to clean it up? it's impossible!

If youre interested in bad ass headset, without a built in mic, sony mdr-7506 are boss. I think there is an upgraded version, but I cant testify towards their quality. My dad mixes audio professionally, and gives me his "old" sets. The last set he game me lasted 10 years, and they are still going strong. The bass is fucking awesome, they are comfortable as shit, and the sound quality is unbelievable.

Or you can buy my bass modded PC350s :D
Bender will attest to them. They're Sennheisers. Can't go wrong with a pair of Sennies.
My PC350s have a bass mod which give them uber sub bass. They sound awesome. $80 and they're yours.

Asrock z68 mobo, I72700k, realtek hd sound onboard. Should I get a headset that use audio jacks, over usb? Done with wireless. Usb or audio jack?

I would go for an audio jack. Cant dispute decades of audio technology and plus the flexibility of using the device for other devices like mp3 players and shit

If you're looking just for a headset for gaming, a usb set might be better than your onboard sound.
Realtek SUCKS!!!! One reason i got my mobo was that it had the best Realtek chip on the market, 2 days after i built my computer i went shopping for a soundcard.
A decent usb gaming headset will be an upgrade from your gaming audio. even if you get better headphones.
If you like to listen music on your computer as well, don't go anywhere near a usb set. Get a decent sound card, or a good usb headphone amp or dac.
Get good headphones, and a cheapass microphone.
I have a Beyerdynamic DT770 pro, an Asus Xonar Essence ST and a 4 euro mic. couldn't be happier. I often prefer this over my very expensive sound system.

I want to try out those DT770s, sir. Good phones there. Lots o bass. I'm currently using Pro 900s on a Fiio E17. Orgasms errday.
But, I agree with Pimple. Not USB. Big no no.
