So, On the old forums I could turn off images globally from being displayed in Avatars, signatures and in posts (including the shoutbox). On this new setup I cannot figure out how to "globally" disable images from showing up. I have disabled the options as shown here, but I still see all of your emoticons in posts and in the shoutbox. It would be nice to not have these images downloaded to my machine. Not sure if anyone else is concerned with this, so if I am alone, just tell me to GTFO and I will know that this feature is not possible. -Shark
you can set up firefox not to download images from the web, but it will be a boring task to look for porn. If your complaint is about too much gay dick picks on uan, i must agree.
what you posted, as far as I know, is how you go about stopping images from being displayed. However, your issue is not necessarily with an image, but bbcode that turns the text into a picture... I have yet to check it out, but is there a way to disable BBCODE on your profile?
I don't see an option to turn off all [bbcode]. Anyways, don't worry about it. I was just wondering if there was a way to accomplish this with a setting change.
