^^The game definitely has some major first day bugs but nothing too crazy that can't be fixed with a patch or two. I guess we can sit back and see what develops in the coming days. I'm waiting to hear back from our provider coding guru, there may be the possibility to tweak the admin daemon to allow for more players per server/gametype (like we were able to with BF3 before it was officially implemented... i.e 64 slot CQ servers). Right now with MoH it's just a 20 slot (10v10) MP experience. But if we were able to increase the number of slots, I think MoH has potential to provide a fun MP experience and kind of get us back to some of our old TDM madness days. :2gunsfiring_v1:
*Moved your post Boner and created a new thread for this, instead of the BF3 one.* On a side note, you DO get MoH Warfighter for $30 opposed to $60 if you're a Prembro. There was some confusion that you needed to be purchasing Premium and MoH at the same time. You can go here to see if you're eligible (I already confirmed it though): https://offer.medalofhonor.com/index.php If you check and see if you're eligible, copy and save your code because I'm sure they only give it to you once.
If all goes well I will, I'm just going to wait a couple of days and see what's what and how things develop patch/admin daemon wise
I do not plan on getting MOH:WF. I might be convinced if a bunch of you guys buy it and decide to play it. What I really want is BC3.
Was thinkin about it, so I guess I will wait and see who else. I talked to r3mxd last night and he was askin if we was gonna host a server and said not sure I know he plans on playin. On a side note the the 30 bucks is priced right.
agreed. Right price. I may pick it up to check it out. I'm no longer enjoying BF3 and that saddens me.
Personally I would give it a couple of days. There are some major stabality issues with the game, I would like to see if the knuckle heads are going to proactice about fixing things. Right now there is major Blaze issues with thee game aad people are being disconnect at the start of every neww round in the spawn screen.
I think it will be good if they fix the stability issues and all of the Blaze crashing. A lot of people comment that the game-play is great but the technical issues are unbearable, unplayable most times. The BF fan boys hate on the game because it's much more fast paced (a little COD like) and it really requires you to play with your buddy. Lonewolfing it wont get you very far. I thought this was a pretty good video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2nTD6tcQPak&feature=g-all-lik The only thing that makes me a little hesitant is Danger Close is really slow to make any sort of response and they also haven't released any public server documentation. And our provider said the documentation that Danger Close gave them was pretty awful. So I'm definitely going to hold out and see if they iron out some of the technical issues. I'm not down to play another broken game for 6 months waiting for basic fixes.
It looks pretty good from a pure gun play shooter perspective. I like his final comments found from 7:00-7:12 http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=2nTD6tcQPak#t=420s This game might actually set up really nicely for my preferred game play style.
I believe for the most part, a server side patch was launched yesterday. I will post the patch notes here in a few when I get home.
