I do. Anyway, Im not too happy about the server change which was made possible by eric. My ping is way higher than the average 110 ms I had on the ny server :cry:
freddy, what are you averaging? Around 150? 180? That really wont' affect your gameplay. Just ask layz. It would be one thing if yoru shit was reaching 300 or higher, but 150-190 wont' really affect THAT much.
at the ny server it was a steady 110, now its like 180.... Im not sure it doesnt affect my game, cuz I have to shoot way ahead of people and i dont have any additional senses yet.
I agree with Freddy...it is tough to play when you have to shoot way ahead of people to just hit them...let alone when they run back and forth and jump around like jack rabbits. This is the only draw back to online shooters... Ghosting!
make a demo next time you play (pull up console, type in /record then to stop type /stoprecord). I can't imagine that a ping of 180 would ruin your game THAT much, but I'd like to be proven wrong, so that we can get a new box if need be. You also have to take into account that you are in AMSTERDAM and your ping is going to be high, no matter where we put the box. I've been rconning into the box today, and I see your ping is around 140. The difference between 110 and 140 is minimal at best. Don't think I'm being a jerk either, just trying to explain and understand.

But it does affect my game and i can get u a demo, but it wont be that ovbviously for the eye, its more like the game ´feels´ different(no im not drunk) Besides I saw more people complaining about their ping today. besides that, im out of cigarettes.
Im noticing simularities to Freddy's problem here with my ping jumping to 100-130 from low 50's Im not complaining just an FYI It seems much harder to stay on target and I seem to be getting hit aot easier..... Im not drunk either.....lol [UAN]Sniper69
Not yet anyway. It's just gonna take some getting used to I think. When I joined today, it felt kind of weird...like it was moving differently or something to that effect.
