TS pop very much needed for server pop. It takes 4 peeps in TS to start the server. I don't know anything about any douchebaggery except for kr0me being in the server and pissing all over the team he's playing for..
when you have four fucking people, then you should be populating the server. If ya'll recall for BF3, it sucked for the first few months where we had to seed every single day, multiple times. If we're not willing to do that, then why are we paying $100 a month for a server? And mighty, this is not directed towards you.
kr0me is jew right guys. That server should be our bread and butter. Keep involved in seeding that thing, try to expand our TS community, and get more (new) regulars on there. Be nice, have people add us to favorites. More people will in the end lead to easy seeds. Find those players, send the invites and have 'em join. It takes 4 people on TS (sometimes 3 but then were lucky) to start the server and so far that went quite smooth except for server poo with crashing n stuff n things. It's not quite stable yet so we need more "work"on it and that might seem less "play".
Is the autobalance a "plugin"? It's not balancing the last players to join. It's balancing squad leaders and players that are high scoring for their team. A lot of "chat bitching" that gets contagious.
Yeah..we also just got the server up to full 64 players and it just crashed and dumped everyone out. I watched the server ping then go from 64, 145, 160 then completely go down,
A player is immune to balancing for 10 minutes after they've joined the server. The balancer is set to move only weak players around to balance the server, based on roundscore and set to 50%. Lets say you have 32 people on a team. That means that a 'strong player' is defined as being in the top 15 slots. Anyone in slot 16 or lower is open for balancing, squad leader or not. If you have 10 people on a team, the weak players are defined as the lowest 5. Make sense? It also splits LVL145 between teams. If you have two lvl145 in game on the same team, one will be moved. If you have 4 in game, it will split 2 and 2 between teams. It does not allow "late stage" switching to the winning team. "Late stage" is defined as 100 tickets from round end. When I've watched it, it works fine. There is bitching, but there is always bitching when you have a balancer, hence the message that is played to the person that gets balanced thanking them for keeping cool. It will also 'unstack' teams twice per round. If a squad has more than 1 gamer with the same clan tag as another, they won't be moved. For example... three players in the FRZ clan are in the same squad. Those three players will be excluded from balancing. The other two members of that squad without clan tags are open for balancing. Hopefully that answered some of your concerns.
This is typical BF4 right now unfortunately. If you notice a trend that it crashes on a certain map, let me know and I'll remove the map from rotation. We've taken out Seige because of this already.
