how is the net code and the graphics? what about hyper-speed zombies? my beef with the arma mod version was probably because i got it like 2 years after it came out and was pretty dated at that point. the netcode was pretty bad and had a slight stutter/out of sync feel to everything beside static objects. sync issues fucked up my 2 games where i was actually progressing past being a shithead noob due to out of sync falls where I break my legs. also the graphics were pretty dated. im not sure if it was due to the prior 2 complaints, but i didnt like how all the zombies ran around at hyper speed. it was especially bad if you were starting a new game because most new spawns were in shitty random locations with no way to get past a horde of asshole zombies to do anything.
Watching some of the game footage it seems the Zombie speed has been changed. They follow but they are much more manageable. As far as the Netcode, I cannot really comment since I have yet to fire it up. I have heard some say it is bad at times. But, the game is in alpha/early release.
Played late last night. Game is thrilling, especially when interacting with other players. Bender, you buying this? I did realize a few things about the Alpha release: - The mouse acceleration is terrible. Adds glitch to mouse movement and makes it quite erratic. - Server to client lag is present and effects most features of the game. Interacting with in game items can be frustrating and sometimes items just disappear. - Zombies are quite manageable if you have a strong melee weapon such as an axe or crowbar. Punching them is retarded and it takes like 50 punches to take them down. Especially starting off, this caused me to die the first time I spawned in. Overall, I would say it is worth the price of admission, but there are some definite growing pains.
What's ghey is I don't think they're going to release the server files now. So you have to host a server through a 3rd party host at $2.29/slot, minimum 30 slots. This type of sh*t needs to stop...
You bitches need to hit me up on steam and play this with me. Even as it is (in Alpha) it still manages to constantly crank out thrilling experiences like no other game I've played. Most fun with a squad of 3-4 friends, I think. I always have people in my friends list wanting to play DayZ, so no problem finding a good group. BTW I still <3 you bendy bend.
Ha! Nah, man. I'm doing other shit. Saw Shark and some other UAN members playing DayZ and figured I would come back and post here. Maybe I'll get BF4.
is this the year to buy broken games? cuz if it is,i will not get in that titanic,no sir!!!still have my buttocks full of blood from BF4
