So I m pretty sure I have narrowed down my very long period of BF3 hatred to TS compatibility issues. The BF3 have been completely useless, as well as TS forums. Anyone know of any fixes?
Are you updated to newest version? What other drivers (Logitech, nvidia, realtek) do you use? http://www.tacticalgamer.com/battlefield-3-technical-support-faqs/182033-teamspeak-bf3-conflict.html
I disabled all pluggins, no effect. Last night I just played without joining TS and I was actually able to finish a map (everyone got sleepy so I left after it too). Basically every 5-10 min my computer will hard lock. Just lock up at my current view, with no sound (there is another bug other people have where screen goes black and sound loops). My hardware is: i7 920 12GB corsair vengence 560s in SLI realtek onboard audio Ive used 4 or 5 versions of gfx drivers including 2 or 3 beta and 2 whql Ive used 3 versions of audio drivers/software and also the default windows drivers. My shit worked just fine 2 months ago, but I started having other issues in parallel. Im pretty sure my hardware issues are solved (with the exception of getting my RMA power supply). I have tried every stupid tweak and trick ive seen on the forums, there are about 2 dozen modern and semi modern games ive played with TS/vent/mumble that have worked just fine, it is just BF3 that causes problems.
The realtek gets my vote as the incompatible driver. Wait! Make sure Nvidia audio is disabled, in their new drivers!
Don't even install Nvidia audio (or any of the other shit unless you need it, just the driver and physx portion). And yes Realtek can be an uber fickel b*tch. What do you have your chip clocked at and what are your voltages? OC's and chip cores degrade over time. Do you ever experience a bluescreen? And if so what are the codes that you're experiencing?
