Yup,you can almost build a new machine with that amount. For exemple to stream or just to use facebook 1440p with 144hz...allready have a 144hz monitor so if getting a 1440p i do not whant to leave 144hz beind.im allready to used to it. TN vs IPS,now that has been my main problem I dont see any problem having less 3ms between the two panels...also...viewing angle, cmon im gonna allways be sitted in front of the monitor,so why the hell am i going to be bothered by washed collers if seeing from the sides. Now color correction, thats the problem. My current monitor is a TN panel so im allredy used to it,but had to spend a good amount of hours testing and using diferent settings. Thanks to Blur Busters,Youtube and Reddit it didnt took more time.Had allready seen that video, and in the begining i was leaning to the PG279Q model, then started to read some people saying that the movement, while playing, was more fluid with the PG278Q. Do you have any type of monitor in mind Shark, for your new build? There are a couple of good ones: https://www.asus.com/Monitors/ROG-SWIFT-PG279Q/ https://www.asus.com/Monitors/ROG_SWIFT_PG278Q/ http://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/model/UM.HB0AA.001
I have the same thoughts about TN vs. IPS. I currently run the VG248QE 144hz TN. I have no problems with it, but I want to get g-sync and a bit more resolution. The TN PG278Q looks really good and I hope to demo a friend's in a couple weeks at a Intel Lanfest. I have also been looking at Dell's TN G-Sync. I've heard whispers of a secret Bender rig parts list. Flowing teraflops and closed loop coolers. It could be rumor, but we may once again experience epic Bender douchebaggery.
lies, all lies on topic... Testing the PG278Q for 3 days (gona intensive test the fucker this weekend) and so far got to say...fuck yeah!!!1440p and g-sync really is a bonner.
I got mine In terms of color because of the TN panel, its way better them my benq xl2411z (also TN panel).Of course i ad to calibrate the shit out of it,but the colors are way more vivid, not as washed. Now the 1440p and the g sync,my god,its so smooth.playing bf4 without tearing, stuttering with a stable fps,so smooth.it was so wierd the first 30min.
