I have a problem connecting to the server. When I connect it goes to the map loading screen for about 10 sec and then just goes black. No matter how long I wait it just stays like that. Interestingly I can still call up the command console (~) but cant go to the main menu by pressing Esc. Btw this is for both cod2 servers and this only happens with this server, all others are ok. Any suggestions?
You can also try deleting anything with "uan" in it from your Activision\Call of Duty 2\main directory and then it will redownload the mod and maps. You may have old maps\mods that are conflicting. Please let us know if this worked or not.
I tried that once manually and i must have missed something cause it didnt work but i used Cod2 Mod Manager and it works now. thnx To clarify, by that I meant smiper69's reply not major badass's
Hey! I had the same black screen this afternoon. It started after Ive played on MDTK. There was a file called 6.iwd in the main directory that I have downloaded from their server. It is the map mp_chateau, but a different version of the map we play here on UAN. I have deleted the file, and now I can see the light again. :drunk: Hope this can help others

we had that map wen we had our server up for the first time, but now there is a new version I guess so we have it back. I don't suck anything and especially not from UAN.. atleast I don't suck at playing sucking is not my strongest point you guys really hate MDTK don't you LOL haha what do you hate more TGA or MDTK?? btw it was fun playing against you guys after along time especially butzie and major
