PB bans our cod2 server IP ...

this day I played normal like usual, but at the afternoon starting to give me this message..



then your connection is overflow ..



the solution was simple:

1. launch cod2 without connect to our server
2. in the main menu/multiplayer options disable your PB
3. exit cod2, now try to connect and you can play in our servers normally.

but others players have the same problem with that, any ideas because PB love us?

PD. I notify Muddr when my problem started.

I did some searching around and this is a client-side issue. so you need to either:

turn PB off like burno said.

or

open pbns_c.dat and pbcl.db in notepad and delete all the content in the files and then set them to read-only..

i am so late, well, i not have that problem anymore

Funny thing is we don't have PB on the server...

if possible to add/change this msg :



and provide info to the players about PB CLIENT problem.

finally fixed

this problem is affecting the few players in cod2, and is hard to help them because PB overflow their connections and dont let me to assist them.

sure, your ping up to 999, like that, nothing can do it, only wait for the Kicked

PB banned our server... anyone who has PB running will automatically show it being banned and PB will purposely overload the game until you disconnect. This has happened before and the only way around it afaik is to change the server IP OR tell people to turn PB off.

works fine, but sorry for bother you, can you change in a big red one like something ALARMING!!!!

It is banned because we are "fixed" and PB found us. Can't remove a ban...
