TEAM UAN!

So, here is an idea that I have been kicking around. I think it would be cool to have a select few in charge of organizing and handling the COD2 server(s). These people will be expected to organize inter-clan scrims as well as hold matches with other clans if desired. These people will take it upon themselves to "own" the COD2 traffic and do all promotion and announcing of our COD2 server(s).

My goal is to get this server full again so that UAN members will have a populated server to play on whenever they want. The way that servers get full is to populate them with members and as we have all seen people will jump on and play. There are a lot of old timers who continually check in to see if UAN is still around. We do have a name when it comes to COD games and especially COD2.

The people who decide to take on this responsibility will take it upon themselves to get this happening. They will need to recruit other members to help them in this and populate the servers on a continual basis. The goal here is to get a crowd going so that other non-members will stick around and make the server stay alive. But, non-members will not come to us if our own members do not stick around. It seems like we are able to get 12-18 players on every once in a while, but as soon as the UAN guys leave, the server becomes a ghost town. We need consistency.

So, I am thinking of asking a select few (3-5) of our current members to get this rolling. I will help out as well, but this will be these member's oppurtunity to play their part in the leadership of UAN.

The last thing I want to do is add more complexity to our Non-Clan clan, but I think it would be beneficial to ask some of you for assistance. I know that some of you are able to donate and some of you are not. This would give some of you non-donaters a chance to play an active role in Supporting UAN.

So, I will be kicking this idea around with the other Admins and will be notify those I have in mind as soon as I get approval from them.

I'll do my part for sure. The more I play Cod4, the more I love Cod2. I've had more fun on Cod2 lately than I've EVER had on our Hardcore Server.

IDEA:

If we can get possibly MEMBERS to play on the COD2 server in Shifts during the evening hours, non-members have a larger window of opportunity to see it populated.

For Example:

SHIFT #1: Time : 8:30-10:00 PM (EST)
Players : Lacoste, Corkscrew, Xatrix, Major Badass, Krome, ArtDent

SHIFT #2 Time : 9:30 - 11:00 PM (EST)
Players : strudels, waffles, brownbommer, angrybeaver, cletus, meatstick

Shift #3 Time : 10:30 - 11:59 PM (EST)
Players : Shark, freezie, bobby, el mero, sniper, equi,

Shift #4 Time : 11:30 PM - 1:00 AM (EST)
Players : Fuzion, truckmuddr, tommy, butzie, freddy, drawn



Thats PURELY EXAMPLE as far as shifts, number of players, times but you get the idea.

What do you think guys?

I'll try to start taking the 10:30 to midnight shifts, but mind you... if your ass is online, then I will rape you until you logon to the server... keep that shit in mind.

Like I said, its not in stone....but if lets say we have 2 shifts if only 12 people volunteer........anyways, Something came up and will be away from the computer tonight won't be playing COD2.
