Dear Terd,

Don't know if i have to post it here, but I for one do not like the new map rotation. There are to much wanca maps. I understand that I can't play the maps I like all the time but those new wanca maps suck. Yesterday there were not as much players online like usuall, so maybe more players don't like em. My idea is to place 1 or 2 wanca maps in the voting box. By the way, why those new wanca maps? There are enough original maps that aren't optional in the voting box. I haven't played bocage, kharkov etc for quite some time now on the uan server. Give those maps a chance. Greetings from Holland,

I agree that some of the new maps need to be removed. A few of them are good and some are just crap. bocage is not my favorite but kharkov is good for DOM and CTF. I think adding them in was more of a test to see which ones we liked.

Yeah ... that is what I was thinking as well. Let's cut out some of the custom maps that we think suck and leave some good ones ...

Also, we should add a gametype in for each of the original maps (yes ship too). My goal is that we only have one gametype on for a map so that we aren't always playing the same maps. Also to diversify the gametypes as well ...

Take a look at my recent post of the map rotation and make some suggested changes there.

Agreed, some maps are better for certain game types.

I'm going to take Tigertown out of the rotation. Not enough people have the map. Lastnight the server was packed, then Tigertown came up and 6 people were left. I like the map but its killing play time. Let me now your thoughts.

Arnhem... blah. Tigertown, not bad but it's weird, everyone should have it. I don't think you can play a 1.51 server with a 1.41 patch... so when the 1.51 patch was downloaded, wouldn't Tigertown be automatically added? I can't remember if it was attached or separate, but maybe people just don't like that map. Playing Arnhem as anything but Axis sucks. Maybe consider giving that one less play time.

I agree, Arnham for CTF is not the best. Tigertown was in the COD 1.51 patch but its not a UO patch so most people didn't bother updating because it came out right after OU did. Maybe we can add a link to our site to download it and put a message in the game.

Ok Mr. Pants ... now you HAVE to get on teamspeak ... making all these demands and such ... I swear. Blah blah ... no arnhem ... blah blah ....

Anyways, Arnhem should not be a in the rotation except for HQ and DOM and DEM. Definetly not as a CTF map! That maps is just like peaks --- one path and noone is ever going to score. SUX for CTF play.

I'll check it tonight to make sure it's gone from the rotation.

Lol I've been on the past couple nights, but I'm usually alone. Sorry about the 'demands'... I recall someone telling me to make suggestions. Seriously though, I love the server and if I had money I would put some towards it. When I do get money I'll have to send you a money order or something... We just had some fraud action with VISA because of the internet so I'm a bit hesitant to do anything like that right now. The point is that I make suggestions that I think would be cool, but I know that you all are the masters of the universe and do your own thing and that's okay.

And besides, if you don't want suggestions, turn off your forums .

Mr. Pants, you must understand that Adogg is a Douche Bag. Keep the suggestions coming. Mondays and Wednesdays are the best nights for Teamspeak. 9PM eastern is good.

that map is really annoying.

I dont mind Krakov. Its better than Bocage and Arnhem. I'm starting to like Streets HQ and CTF. Lots of places to shoot and run.

Do you know the map Omaha Beach? Since we´re donating my girlfriend has started making demands, so I´m obliged to ask you if you want to add the map to the map rotation. I like the map too. It´s nearly impossible to get of the beach, but that makes it more interesting. You can even go under water and make a supprise attack. Happened to my once, scared the shit out of me. Let me know if it´s possible to add the map.

Terd, still feel free to answer this one, but I know we had it for a while and it didn't go over too well. The server was pretty much empty when we had it on, and it doesn't work for CTF... you can't get to the allies' flag. Or is it the axis... I can't remember, whatever flag is on the boat. If there's some way to resolve these issues, then I'd say it might be fun, but if not it's definitely not worth it. In my opinion .

Right now there are atleast 2 different versions of the map floating around. The best is a Vikings Omaha map but it only worked for S&D games (BORING!) and then there was the old regular CoD map - OmahaBeach but the allies flag is stuck in a landing craft. I can adjust the flags with some simple work and cvar fun but I just haven't had the time to do it. I'm looking for a new version of the Vikings Omaha map since that map is pure beauty. I mean it's freaking perfect except for the game type issue. So, if you can identify the map wanted and/or any needed cvars for moving the flag spawn point (using the awe system) the let me know. Otherwise we'll need to wait a bit so that I can get some free time to get a better answer.

Nice that omaha beach is added to the map rotation, but it seems that when I'm online it won't go to that map.

Please fix map rotation! It's no fun to play same map twice even if it's a different gametype!
