BF2 ROE

do not have the words KNIFE, and PISTOL in the server name whatsoever.

I know it isnt against the ROE to have it there, but since we were already warned about breaking the ROE we are under a microscope!

If people are even suggesting that we are runnig it that way, please clarify for them that we are not running that was, and that it is against BF2ROE.

Our server has been shutdown already (again already, not the first time) blc of suspicion of breaking ROE, and stats padding.

The MyIS team has sent a log of the activity in to the BFROE people for review. their hosting of BF2 is on the line if we are caught breaking the ROE, and they are our provider.

Someone kicked a player who was acctually an MyIS emplyee aprently, i dont know the reason why this occurred.

As admins of the server we are responsible for the way people play on our server, and to make sure people are not breaking the ROE.

Hopefully the logs do not hold information about our people stats padding, or encouraging stats padding.

Then the deliberations begin. But because our

be reimbursed for this downtime, even though that
server essentailly (eventually) pays for itself, So In Fact
UAN LOST MONEY yesterday.

I am going to host a website.
That website will be about BF2 ROE whores,
Imma call them EA Narcs, and explain to ppl how we,
as game hosters, are not permitted, VIA the ROE, to host a
ranked server in the fashion we deem fit (Within Reason),
But we are permitted to give some clusterfuck company
our hard earned $100.00 so they can host another server
the way EA deems fit. If every server followed the ROE,
wouldn't it eventually happen that they would all be essentially
THE SAME?, therefore eventually ALL Empty as ppl grow tired
of the same 'ol bullshit day after day?
Aside from all that, if they allow ppl to run Knife/Pistol only games,
sooner or later Everyone would have attained the badges these
servers were set up to get, thus rendering such servers Useless?

I can't foresee any logevity in BF2 unless these rules are revamped
to make them fair for both Hosters and players alike, because as of
right now, they are seemingly only fair for Hosting Companies
and the EA Narcs that appear to own them.

I was treated like a criminal, and this asshole because of his affiliation is the judge and the jury. You can see clearly by our stats we are new to bf2. Rather than educate us they report us to EA and threaten our stats to be wiped. What a great approach. It's like throwing an 8 year old in prison for something he did accidently. Can anyone find their policy on their site?

It reminds me of a car rental place here in Miami that was taken down. They called the lawsuit the "money maker car".

What this car rental place did is they had a car with some moderate damage at a discounted rate. When you returned it they would say that the damage was not there before, and keep your deposit. The way they got busted is people researched them and found that this happened over and over to many people.

To make a long story short. We should find out who else uses these guys and talk to them. If in fact they do exist. But it is just odd how they do web hosting and BF2. Things don't add up. I think BF2 is the"money maker car" for them.

They'd make far more money to allow you to keep hosting the server. They got one month's server fees with no setup costs. Not a big deal in the big sceme becuase that server is likely to stay unrented for the next month too.

Now the angle your missing is that EA makes the games. THEY make money when you get frustrated and buy a NEW GAME (BF2142) that just happens to fix ALL the problems/improvement ideas the community complains about. But oh no they can't FIX BF2 and allow CTF or other gametypes becuase "that'd be stats padding!"

Anyways .... I'm going to play some COD2 tonight.

regardless i want our money back. i agreed to nothing from the host because he had no agreement, contract or disclaimer other than the service he was providing...and he is not providing.

no doubt EA is a bunch of shit bags, i know people that worked for them. but the games are good. what can you do? i am not going to play cod2 cause i think it sucks monster balls.

Look for a new BF2 host. New York is the best location. 32 man 100/per month max. No ROE rules will be broken.
