EA/DICE has provided us the files for BF3 version R28 (981883) and instructed us to apply this version to all servers starting at 4:00AM EDT on August 9 , concurrent with a Battlelog/Blaze maintenance that will cause overall downtime. They have provided us this changelist for the new version: Security updates. Fixes for several problems with the max-player count handling. Max player count handling in RCON interface has changed slightly. XP2 weapons were unavailable on unranked servers; this has been fixed. Scoring was disabled altogether on unranked servers; this has been fixed. Just wanted to keep you guys in the know and we will need some people around earlier tomorrow to get things rolling. I will be on pretty early tomorrow but not as early as some (atm I'm 2hrs behind my normal time zone ).
