Hi UAN Ladies and Gentlemen its been a while since i played the game maybe 3-4 weeks.Have been playing some COD4 in the mean time (unfortunately not on my beloved UAN stock+ server- now this is the line in the script when Sark should shout "that is gay"some others might join him to is free country after all). The reasons for playing the old game are obvious my machine did not like the new version as the old COD4. I would prefer when you are on my sign aim to be dropped in few ms .just personal preferences. Whatever i am in a happy drinking mood so pardon my lyric detour. Here i will try to put together all my hearty feelings about this patch and the game so far. 1. my rig specs are: motherboard evga 780i sli something ram ddr2 8gb 1066 hard drives raid 0 2x wd 1 tb audio creative platinum xfi something (the old one) cpu e8400 oced to 3600 ghz video asus 5870 not oced PSU 1200w 2. As i mentioned i didn't play the game for at least 3 weeks cause was broken for my specs, so today i finally played some rounds. And guess what on random server 1st round i did 2.5 k/d ratio with very smooth gameplay consider my conditions (happy hour and beyond). For first time since the game is out i saw potential to play it to some reasonable level. I did use my "tweaked" cfg file which i made 3 weeks which was useless till now (the reason of using it was to fairly compare my experience before and after the patch and yes it is write protected ,so the update didn't change it), and i had much more better experience whit the game after the patch than before. Now i will start building again my cfg file based on a new cfg file and report again my result. Hopefully would be even better. 3. Bottom line in this useless and boring post is that for my old but trusty "game" rig this patch was a bless. I still believe that BO is the substitution of the only game i have been playing for the past 3 years. Thank you for your time and now you may go fuck yourself. JK 4. I had some issues as we all did in the beginning, since then I have been able to play the game in crossfire at ~ 100fps. The only problem I am still having with the failops is my game settings. Every time I log back into the game I have to reset my volume, combat and clan tag settings. Out side of that nuisance, its seems they are starting to pull there giant heads out of their asses...
I agree money will fix systems that simply can't run the game. However a month later and a couple of server side client side patches and my game runs good. No money on my part needed.
