bunnyhopping conflict

okay guys.
I play in your server all the time, and I do realize that you guys are serious about camping and bunny hopping.

I see camping as sitting in a spot, waiting for people to come into your view.
I have been told to stop camping when i have been doing killing, moving up, crouching behind a wall, killing, moving up, crouching behind the next wall, and etc.

Also, I get yelled at by CABJ for bunnyhopping. Jumping once is considered bunny hopping? almost every player uses the strategical jump around corners move, and when I get jumped by 3 enemys i will sprint away, jump and turn around to shoot them. Apparently this is bunnyhopping, and CABJ started cussing me out in game for this.

I really dont see why he was so uptight about this, and I dont see how I was breaking any rules.

Second, I personally do not consider jumping once bunnyhopping, but paramount to that is respect to a UAN member. I feel you have done the right thing by coming here and explaining your case instead of calling CABJ a knife-wielding jerk. That can come later.

I guess the call can be made by others actually in the clan, but you have gained some respect by bringing it here. Unless of course the logs show you bitched and farted in game...

dont get me wrong, i definitely was talking to CABJ in game, i dont know if that would be described as bitching however.

I basically said what I said here, that jumping once really shouldnt be considered bunnyhopping and him getting pissed and cussing me out about it shouldnt happen.

Like art said, you did the right thing by bringing it here. CABJ,(and if I am wrong let me know admins ) should not be "cussing" you out. Just because he is a member shouldn't mean he can bitch and whine because you are killing him. Now if you are bunny hopping constantly and are being warned to stop frequently, then it is a different story.

Yeah, I do not bunny hop constantly, I dont think i ever do. Just like I said in my original post. That is when I will jump.

I kinda wish an admin was in there at the time to determine if CABJ really was in the wrong or if I truly was "bunny hopping" by jumping once.

I've found the bitching about camping/bunnyhopping is directly related to how good the person is doing in the round. If they are having a good round, there is no bitching. Shitty round, all of a sudden everyone is a camper and bunnyhopper (or a dirty major lagass)

In general one hop is whatever, sniping and moving is fine, and if you really are doing something you aren't supposed to it will catch up to you eventually anyhow. Or some pissed off admin will just kick you for no reason because they are having a bad round, enjoy your AIDS. Hopefully that cleared(?) things up for you...

pretty much the only time you should take notice of your in-game behavior is when an admin warns you, or KICKS YOU.
if you are kicked, and you come back, an admin will tell you why, and if not--ask us or come on ventrilo, or even post here, dont matter

okay. I basically wanted to clarify what bunnyhopping truly is and what I should do if something happens like this again.
