This is a full patch meaning unpatched can not play on or with patched.

Lots of issues on this one I think ... make sure to back up your mpdata file BEFORE installing this patch (and take note of the CD key you're using)

can you explain to me the no-wait thing?

and also while we are at it.. do we have the master servers commented out? if we do, maybe we should uncomment them as ive heard it adds it to the master internet list..

The 30 min wait time = the time your server must be running to show up in the master server list (atleast me thinks)

I recall some other version of COD needing to sit for 30 minutes before anyone could join the cracked server... something like that?

the zip file is indeed going around.. you just have to replace your exe with the one in the zip
as for the crack, it does work and the wait time im still not sure of

situation: if we upgrade, we lose all 1.2 and below players until they upgrade
if we dont upgrade, no one who has upgraded can play on our server

I think our offical policy should be we patch once a crack comes out ...

It is out(scroll up). You guys should announce that the server will be going 1.3 and then do it.

I remember on my UO server we just told everyone to get the 1.51 patch, then we patched the server. More than 75% of our people came back and we still have numbers from 20-32(out of 32 slots) daily... Remember, UO is way less popular than CoD4 and it will be MUCH easier to fill your servers up again. From what I've seen in the shout box, others are waiting for this patch too. .
