yeah 80 gives it a little bit of a "Fisheye" view... but it does allow you to see more...

There is a small but important FPS improvement, although sometimes get under 60 FPS, but now it keep over 60. (Now I understand why red numbers :D ).

I made changes with firsts tips in Tutorial. (Who have some echos) and I disable Antilasing and Filters also.
    Thanks Sharkus.

Core2 Quad6600 and 9800GT @ 1680x1050 No AA but all other settings max and absolutely none of the tweaks from that guide...

If I am getting pretty consistent 85+ FPS and never lag @ 1680x1050, I shouldn't worry about the tweaks right? (except maybe just for show-off)

Double-post...wow even when I put all in-game sett's to low on 1024x768, I still get 90 FPS. Like I have V-Sync on but I don't...weird. Maybe something in the driver. Maybe I should go back to TRU Xtreme G drivers.

You shouldn't have to worry about the tweaks unless you are having problems...

Also, the reason it is capped is because by default, /com_maxfps is set to 85. If you want to see the uncapped FPS, do this:
    Open your console (~)
    Type "/com_maxfps 0" (without quotes)
    Press Enter

Close the game, restart and join a server... should fluctuate now.

    Thanks, Cletus...hovered between 120-150 FPS @ 1680x1050. Not bad at all for a 9800GT.

When I was running the single 9800GT I was getting about 115-125 consistently. When I put the Second one in, I get about 200+ consistently. It is all about finding a setting that looks good for your "eye". I find that if I can maintain a solid 125... it is perfect. Once you find your "spot" lock it with the /com_maxfps x setting. Also, the fps has locking frames so anything between 111 and 125 will bump to 125. you can find these key frames on a site I am sure.

Thx Shark, my game looks better and fps are great, but I m getting a msg at the left bottom "/r_drawdecals (=0) must be 1", could be a problem?
