There's been an error message popping up everynow and then. Sometimes after posting a reply or when sending a Private Message. It's a basically harmless notice. Your post, or message has been sent anyways.

I'd like to keep a little record of theses messages tho. If you get the following message:
It'd be nice if you could post here. Let me know what you were doing, and when. Thanks and don't worry about it.

    Hey bro,
This is normally caused by a "Watched" Topic.
I'm sure you know what this means, so I won't explain.
Basically the emailer.php is gettin clogged by crap mailings.
if the E-mail from the site are generally OK, then it's
almost definately Watched topics causing the issue.

    I'm on XFire.

I think the randomness of the errors, is because of the host. I had a talk with Ralph, and that was his suggestion. It makes sense. The availabilty of the site has been on and off lately, and I'm guessing that some server changes are actively being made. NOt everyone has gotten the error message, and I only get it randomly too.

Thanks for that thought tho. I had considered that maybe it's not having trouble sending one email, but maybe there is a host limit on the number of emails sent at once or per hour/day/etc.

Also, some people have said they haven't been able to sign up, because of lack of confirmation emails. I don't know if this could be related to the 72 forums members that have signed up since the begginning of the month either. Our traffic has increased significantly and we may be pushing outside of any "comfort zone" that the site was in, throughout the past.

If it gets really bad xpider, then I'll explore our options. Maybe "turning off" the ability to watch a topic should be done. PM module has already been disabled.

Sorry about my communication too, xpider. I'm usually online from the afternoon to early morning. If we need to get together to discuss somethng, I'll make arrangements to be online at your convenience.

    Ok, thanks for the reply.

There is a nuke mod for admins to activate a membership,
as alot of site's don't have email capabilities.

I'll look again later and see if I can dig it up.

That would be better than having to have an admin manually create it. There is an option in the forums config for "account acitavtion" with the choices "none, user, admin." This too, sounds liek an option if it has to be done. I'm serioulsy thinking of just removing the "watch topic" from the template or script, or both.

    Thanks Xpider.
