Campers are fairly rampant although it is part of the game play. When you are in a squad sometimes you have to camp to let your mates spawn on you.

The crashes are pretty ridiculous, but I am hoping they iron it out. Fuzzy and Bender mentioned that it seems to only happen to them when on vent... I wonder?

Anyways, the game is very fun and they have done a good job of making it feel intense every spawn.

I have noticed that when I launch the game, W7 has informed me that it is "running out of resources" and wants to run in "Basic Mode".

I have only seen this with BC2. Have any of you seen that?

Id like to see infantry only, smaller maps with more players. And make the guns actually hurt. Last night I had to use the auto shot gun to kill things. I would unload an entire clip into a player and not kill them. That's stupid. I can understand if the bullets missed due to spread, but if 90% of them hit - then that should equal a kill.

Because of this the gameplay is much slower and REQUIRES a level of camping.

A-MOTHER-FUCKEN-MEN butzie. mabey if they got there asses out and caped a few positions every once in a while or planted a bomb they wouldnt need to ""defend""<--- yeh right .. the whole match. and suppressing fire dont do shit in the first place so that isnt even near a valid responce in my book for camping lol.

personaly i dont mind ppl camping "to much" unless they are in that position wher you try to pry them out 20 times and cant even hit them. ex. they have there sniper poking out a 2 inch hole 2 footballfields away. runnin up a score of 100 - 5 spawncamping ... them are the assholes that need booted on there asses. sadley they also seem to have admin detectors.

we all know what happens in mexico when the lights go out ....... the cockroaches come out

I never bought a game at Steam. Do anybody know how it works, I mean I don't get a dvd in my hands, but the game will install directly on my harddrive? Whats going to happen when my harddrive is going down? Can I download it again from steam?

Starting to get fed up with the multiplayer experience. Went to try and play today and got either "can't log in" or "key already in use" errors. Shit's all over their forums, but apparently it just happened recently so who knows when it will be fixed. This whole trend of not having dedicated servers from private hosts who are held accountable by the people who pay them is clearly working out just grrrrrrrrrrrrrreat. No customization, no mods, no accountability when these servers take a dump. Awesome. I did just get a good laugh after going to the feedback section of EA's BC2 forums, there was a thread titled "Here's my feedback - FIX THE F*** EA SERVERS". Ahhh...good stuff

The only time the connection to EA online hasn't been totally fucked up was within the first hour after i downloaded it the day it was release. Ever since then it's been complete crap. I mean it works great once you get in a server (and STAY there less you want to spend another 30 minutes getting a game) but their browser is slow as dog nuts and these connection problems are inexcusable. It's one thing to have problems, but it's to the point I can't play at all now.

Eh if they just fix their shit i'd have far fewer complaints and would be busy killing people instead.
  14. The game is a well built solid work of art.... :emot-argh:

I love the game, the looks and actual play is intense, however the constant issues are more than the dam thing is worth at the moment. Once all the connection and CTD's are worked out the game will be amazing, until then my time will be limited with it. AC2 next week for me.

It will have it's own issues... http://www.techeblog.com/index.php/tech-ga...rm-servers-fail

Honestly, if any game is 400% more popular than even the publishers expect it to be, then you will have these kinds of problems.

EA is probably more than happy with the initial interest from the player base overwhelming their authentication servers. There is no way that EA could have speculated this amount of players. Just imagine if they would've put into place the infrastructure for the current demand and it didn't hit the mark. That probably was just not a risk they (or their share holders) were willing to take.

We all know that this game is promising. So, with the higher demand, it will take a bit for them to catch up. We will wait and expect them to fix their shit. If they don't, then the players will do what is appropriate for them. Either deal with the issues or they will go elsewhere. "Moderp Suckgame 2" is always available for those who want it's plaguing issues.

Yeah Freezie Ubisoft's constant connect DRM model is pretty fail. Especially if you consider how gaming companies come and go, and their lack of support for old games in general, basically says: "Hey, we'll run servers for now so you can play this game for however long, but when we make a sequel/make other new games/go bankrupt and don't feel that letting you play anymore makes good business sense for us we're going to flip the switch and that game you spent hours playing and $50-60 on is now a paper weight". Thanks.

As long as people "obtain" games... DRMs and PC IP protection will forever get more and more invasive.

i have "obtained" several games over the years, and i always purchase the ones that i know are gonna get alot of play, unfortunately the developers keep fuckin shit up the the point of unplayability.
