I had been putting it off, but my OS crashed for good today. So im doing a clean install, all is going well untill a spark jumped off a loose power dongle into my MB. Had an extra MB switched everything over and still no work. So I switched out the PS with an extra I had, and it spun up and posted. Problem is that the old PS has no power connections for SATA, or PCIE ! I had adapters lying around, but all was lost in my move! The old PS was 500W and this one is 400w. Im on a no income budget right now.
