The title says it all I was able to lock down a very limited supply of next gen Xeon Sandy Bridge based boxes (25-30% faster than what we have running now) that will power our servers. If you thought our latest Nam servers from the past few months were fast, these new servers will put them to shame. Obviously the servers performance is also very dependent on the game but these new servers will have all the power needed to run BF3. Also I was able to lock down a very reasonable price for these higher end servers that will grandfather in later on down the road. Our provider also advised me that their prices for BF3 servers will likely increase once actual performance demands can be accessed (i.e when the game is released) but this wont affect us. Lets keep talk about server details and configs limited to the member section due to a certain small group of unoriginal d-bags that like to copy our stelo. But I just wanted to let you guys know that we will be ready and we will have top notch servers for BF3 (not your typical large provider watered down outdated crap).
