Kicked for camping while lagging

shark... before my windows laptop died i pulled a 175 ping off of my 3g connection my phone makes. i have a windows mobile program that turns my 3g into wifi. since my phone has a wifi connection. it was funny as hell.. had no mouse though so the gaming sucked but the convenience was awesome!

I used pretty much the same setup (that program on my windows mobile phone 3g which connects to my laptop via wifi). I got pings in the upper 100s, but then it would start to ping spike (like 2000) for maybe 20 sec before it would come back down. Did yours start to ping spike?

Playing COD4 away from home through your cell phone is pretty sweet!

last i checked this thread it was about playing on a 3g connection, and yeah ara, mines was about 175 for awhile. sprints good about their connection so its pretty strong for the whole time... but my phone can't take in on the wall charger fast enough to keep it going so it blows through the wall power and battery after awhile.

sucks but it happens. but it was excellent for the trip to tenn. had internet for awhile.
