The patch is already live.

Origin and EA Online are failing off and on right now. If you get messages similar to "Game could not login to EA Online: request timed out" it's not the servers, it's EA Online and Origin failing. Just try logging on several times and you should be able to after a few tries.

The update was applied to all of our servers, although they're full of sh*t when they say they waited for the servers to empty. Also DICE hasn't publicly released any information or notes on what exactly the patch addressed "DICE has not released any further information that we are allowed to pass on" :blink:

R22 didn't have any updates affecting gameplay or server function... just an update for future updates...

BF3 Server Side Update R23 5/24

BF3 server R23 (948577) is now available. Due to the nature of the update, we can't update servers individually, so we have scheduled for a global rollout to occur at 6AM EDT on Friday, 5/25. At that time, you will see our servers go briefly offline, then start up again running the new version.

This is the changelog for the new version:

* The server will automatically delete very small pbns.dat files during startup. This will resolve a recent problem where some corrupted PunkBuster server installations did not work properly.
* Added protection against a malformed UDP packet attack that previously could be used to crash servers.
* Support for double XP weekends, take two


We will need some guys around in the AM hours to help get these bad boys running again

The server side update has already been applied but we are still waiting on the Battlelog update to conclude:

2/3 servers made it through this massive update. The above message pertains to our Rush server and we're aware that it's still down (we actually can't bring it back online). We are waiting for a fix from our provider.

BF3 Server Que Fail

As I told most of you already player que's aren't working and there is nothing we can do about it at the moment but here is an official note from our provider. In short though expect a fix late this week or early next week.
