Yeah we had a good session going till about 4AM EST. It was a solid fail train of 2 drunk Canadians, 1 wasted Jr. Canadian and one drunk yank (alleged mexican).

R11 is nice btw, they finally fixed the chat box issues among other things... haha one month before BF3 comes out

BF3 server version R5, which fixes some crashing bugs, has been released. Our provider is testing it now and will go live tomorrow morning when servers empty out.

We can actually force the update now and may do that so we can refill the servers again but I'm going to wait for a few others to test drive it first

The servers are updating now and so it Battlelog, so expect a decent amount of fail here shortly.

whatever they did, the conquest server experience is much better.

Awesome to hear. All we can do is try to keep filling it up. Had to twice in the last half hour.

The BF3 24/7 Rush server started experiencing that third person glitch really bad (it hadn't happened up until today) and it killed all of the server traffic. So I scheduled a full wipe of the server to get it back to it's original state. The server will be back up and running sometime late tonight.

The 24/7 Metro server was moved to another machine thus why it's empty at the moment. The reason for this is that it was a BC2 server several days ago and it wasn't running on the same caliber machine as the BF3 servers and the performance difference was very noticeable (studdering/rubberbanding).

That server tends to fill really fast, so just hop back on there and lets get it going again.

R6 Server Update Released:

The 3rd person camera glitch is still present though <_< ... The update is already installed on our Rush server and will be installed on the other two when they empty out.

The 3rd person camera glitch is absolutely killing the BF3 Rush servers traffic. The reason the server was doing so well before is because the glitch didn't show up until yesterday.

DICE has acknowledged the glitch and says it's within the servers binaries. I'm thinking tomorrow I would like to change the server over to a 32/slot Conquest server (the glitch doesn't appear to be an issue in CQ servers) that focuses on smaller infantry based maps with little if any vehicles until there is an actual fix for the glitch. Let me know what you guys think or if you have an issue with changing the server over temporarily.

We have had a really good response with our new servers, eventually we will get through all of these various bug related issues.

I like the new server config. Although I do like the RUSH setup as well.
