Mass Server Update Thread

Origin is Down!:

Origin services and authentication are down at the moment. So if you're already logged into Origin don't log out because you wont be able to reconnect, thus preventing you from joining a server.

FYI GameTracker has been failing all day, all of the servers are full and have been for most of the day. Also all of the servers are online.

Thank goodness we're moving on from GT here in the near future

As you know these times are no good but god willing hopefully they're finally dialing in Blaze to resolve some of these player dumps.

Still no official word on the mystery upcoming DLC.

The last 'minor' update that occurred on Tuesday is causing a lot of player dumps on the servers. The severs aren't crashing but Blaze will disconnect half or all of the player base at once. Also there is still some wonky stuff going on with PB (even though DICE said it was resolved). PB will boot half of the players on the server and each time it does this we get a different message. Anything from packet loss, memory errors to random codes.

Thanks to everyone (members, Dutch-Assassins, ect.) that continue to help repopulate the servers and keep them going. Hopefully this will be resolved soon

All services (voice, game, ect.) went down this morning and for some time. This time the game servers going down wasn't due to EA Blaze.

EA Blaze Acting Up and Failing Again

Blaze is dropping off in random sectors right now, earlier it nuked our Euro server and now it killed our Karkand server twice. It's a globlal EA Blaze issue from earlier today and right now it's really only affecting servers at random (hopefully our B2K server is spared). Sorry for the inconvience and hopefully this is resolved soon

Server keeps filled and games were strong today!

^^The server is failing constantly and dumping all of the players in the Eastern PM hours. I'm looking into it now and trying to resolve it.

The Euro/Air Maps server is fixed now and the crashes were to due to an oversight from the provider. They were running very old server side patches on their machines that came out last December (R15: back when server side stability was still really unstable).

Technically providers/administrators are required to run the most current server side patches once they're officially released from DICE according to the terms of use (the most current is version R19). This new server provider runs really fast hardware but they still seem relatively green when it comes to operating their services.

Anyways, it's fixed
