EA Blaze has been failing hard after the last major patch. When Blaze disconnects from the server is causes all of the players to disconnect from the server. Players connect directly to the server and to the Blaze back-end. The server also stays connected to Blaze. When a player joins the server, at round ends, or potentially at other times, the server exchanges data with Blaze, and if Blaze does not respond quickly enough the server tosses out all of its players. It has been the biggest thorn in our side since BC2, although it was called Plasma back in the BC2 days. It has been the perfect storm of multiple DICE updates, IterNAP maintenance (which is the backbone of the backbone of our services... this effects tones of people) and now Blaze failing again.
