I like playing on your server. There are alot of skilled players and that makes the game more challenging. Isn't that the reason for playing Multi-players games in the first place?

I do find the enforcement of camping a little hit and miss. It's kind of heavy handed at times. It pretty much depends on the Admin which is a little confusing at times. I've been kicked a couple of times. Most recently at the end of an overtime in SAB and I was the only player left on my team. Yes, I did lie down and wait for an approaching enemy. I was the only guy left against 7 other players. I wasn't near our spawn. I was in the middle of the map and until my last 2 teammates were killed was headed to the enemies side. The thing that sort of confuses me is that earlier in the same match an enemy was lying down on a balcony spraying our spawn for about 15 kills and didn't even receive a warning about camping. I agree camping can be annoying, but so can noob-tubes being shot into a spawn area at the beginning of matches. I find this even more annoying than a guy setting up in a window with a sniper rifle and picking people off. It's your server and you make the rules and pay for operating the server. I know that policing a server can be hard at times. I've been an Admin with <[OneX]> since MOHAA Spearhead.

It would be nice if you had a set out guideline as to what was or wasn't considered camping that could be followed by all Admins equally. There are a few maps that cry out to use a sniper rifle. It's a shame that those times, as a player you can't take advantage of what the game has been designed for. I know that the types of players you have on your server get the best feeling when they take out a sniper.

These are the rules of the server that all admins try to follow. As you pointed out, these are enforced differently by different Admins. Please read the section under "Do Not Camp" as well as "The Rights of the Non-Member" If you were kicked for camping, the Admin that did so prpbably gave you a warning. Even if they did not, discression must be given to the Admin to handle kicks on case by case basis. Otherwise there would be anarchy. Thank you for bringing this to the forums. I hope to see you on again. If you know who kicked you, PM them to reply to this thread to explain their actions to you, but know in advance that the answer you recieve might not be satisfactory to your grievence.

I feel you... a little. hahaha. I know i know. Some of our admins are harsh about the camping. SAB no respawn, camp all you want... I don't care. What I consider camping is people sitting in a corner or hallway, waiting for people to cross by... being there for a while... thats when I kick. Now... snipers... they can "camp" all the want. That means the only weapon on them is a sniper rifle and a pistol. Now about the tube... I use to tube all the time, launching it off at the beginning of the round killing 3-10 people. To me... its effin funny when that happens. People that are good with the tube... I don't care... use it... Now that I got rid of my tube class... and I'm effin serious about this, no one else should tube. Tube = anti camping weapon / anti spawn. I barely get pissed off about this stuff... so if you see me kicking people, that's when all this stuff gets out of hand... all this camp only happens in out hardcore server... -_-
oh about the hopping... I don't really care that much... you'll end up dying anyways.

it all depends. Often times an admin will reply here and state what had happened. Rarely does it not go this way

Thanks for your replies everyone. I appreciate the prompt and honest answers. The ban was only temporary and had lots of fun later on. Vent was a hoot at times as well.

So True Murder We Tryed to get everyone moving and could'nt.i Speced alot of peeps over 5 or 6 maps.and i knew who to watch.i asked a number of people to Stop Camping or to Move along...some did and alot did'nt..So i sent Console messages.it did'nt work..i Did Kick 2 peeps..But Did'nt Ban anyone
