    Activision Blizzard already had the framework (battle.net) for IWnet in place (copy, paste, tell the artslaves to make a skin, done), saving them a shitton of money on developing the whole multiplayer aspect of the game. It probably cut their costs by 1/3. Aside from that, I thought VAC cheats were more prevalent than PB... you know, since valve 'makes' more games played by loser 14 year olds who think cheating is AWESOME!!1.
