Pistols killed rifle maps. Its over .. nothing else to do .. As someone said ... I don't see pistols in the bashing maps ... why not?
I have a comment about the rifles only maps. If you get put on Allies and want the Kar, then you cant have a pistol, because you have to take the Lee E as primary. The key is shooting, movement, and bash, in these maps. The Lee E is inferior to the Kar on all 3 points. And no one can say that the Lee is even near equal to Kar for bashing. Its like old people fucking. So IMHO Axis has a huge advantage in weapons options. Admittedly high player skills can compensate, and give the illusion of balance. But if skills were even across the board, Axis has the definite advantage.
Yeah that is lame. You have to pick two rifles to get the kar, which is what I usually end up doing. I've heard no praise and a high amount of bitching about AWE. I still hear people complain about lag, there's no ranking system so you have to start with 1 grenade and can never get more, no arty, when you spawn and start sprinting if you start cooking a nade you slow down for some reason, on and on. I really don't think it's a bad mod, just inferior to the setup we had, and if people are going to bitch about lag either way might as well use +extreme.
im fairly certain on a dedicated box we shouldnt have as much problems with extreme.. as well as 2.2 they did a lot of rework on the code to make it more efficient.. as far as the lee-enfield.. any gun is as brutal as you want it to be.. personally i bash as good if not better with the lee-e as i do with the kar.. the mosin is also one people say is bad for bashing.. not at all! learn to use what you got.. take the lee-e and a pistol.. once we get extreme back, we will have all the options of guns and pistols turned off..
i agree with you on this fag.. i use the lee-e since a few months..(never did that befor,e, i used the mp40 thompson, ppsh before). and i like it more than the kar98k . i can aim better, can bash better, so what do you want more,., its even better for sniping than the scoped kar98k
Kills board WILL be back! I actually like the Lee when fightin near the oponent ... you have more bullets and for some reason I think has less recoil .. But, when it comes to aiming .. I have the kar for secoind weapon
i dont aim mutch thats why i always use the mp40,thompson and ppsh. and if i have no other options, i use the lee-e :gun_bandana:
I believe the lee-e has more recoil than the kar. I like the kar better, you can bash much faster than with the lee-e
