I stopped to puke at GeForce....... Plus Cod2 and Bf2 don't support SLI, Actually F.E.A.R is the only game I know of that does, and even that's sketchy.

I have a GF4 ti4600 ultra... which works fine for COD2, even with dx9 i believe. I heard DX9 doesn't work on the TI4600 but when i switch between DX7 and 9 there are some big differences. However, the fan on the thing stopped working so for now i had to take it out and replace it with an old GF2 MX 400 that was laying around... which doesn't work so fine :lol: I sent a mail to Asus, hoping they will sell/send me a new fan. One of my mobo's fans broke a while ago, the mobo producer sent me 2 new ones for free, so perhaps Asus will do the same
Can someone help me with this? As i said in my previous post, my graphic card's fan isn't working anymore, causing the card to overheat and crash my pc. So i contacted producer Asus, requesting their help and perhaps a new (free) fan. For my country, the Netherlands, Asus does have a phone number to call, but that's only a notebook hotline. I called them anyway and the guy just told me i shouldn't have called and that i should instead try to send an email, or call the German number. So i called to Germany (my German is mediocre, so worth the try) but all I get is 15 mins in hold, and a disconnection. Tried that several times, so it's useless. I then sent them an email, using a special form on their Dutch website. In return i got an automated response thanking me for using their service and informing me that due to an enormous amount of daily emails, they can't respond to everything within 48 hours, BUT after those 48H my request will be put on the highest priority list so i should expect an answer soon.... I sent this email at feb 7th... and still no response. Is Asus tech service known to be so damn slow and all out crappy? I can't call them in my own country, a foreign number they give doesn't connect me to the helpdesk at all, and an email i sent is dumped on a pile of perhaps millions :lol: of angry letters... All i need is a new fan to get my card working and play some COD2 again. I replaced the gf2 MX400 with a FX5200, and even though it's better, it still sucks
i would suggest this put a house fan or any fan u have around aiming on that one or buy a custom fan like www.zalman.com any from those guy and install
yeah i would recommend spending the $30 to get one of the "artic coolers". it will solve your problem and probably let you increase you core and mem clock if you are into that stuff.
