Better ... you can host your own ranked server and not have to bother with the whole "trusted" provider. I wonder if it will be crackable?
Even if it is not crackable. There should be a stat system we can implement like we do now with COD4.
I think Shark was also talking about the 60 points for Arty mod we've got going. I would think the helo call in feature in CoD4 is not inclusive to ranked servers so I think we'll have that as an option as well.
i believe it bases it off of kill streaks, not points.. lets say 5 kills in a row and you have the option to call in a choppa (not sure how many kills.. but 99% sure thats how it is figured)
Choppers might make for some interesting choke points. I wonder if the choppers will be available to snipers as well. I can see how some might use camping to get chopper attacks. The nice thing about arty in COD2 is that usually it is only reachable by those who are in the mix during a round. Usually campers cannot snipe fast enough to get WMDs.
I'm sure we could mod it to total kills instead of streaks... I agree that it seems to promote campers.
