ok i have a suggestion. can we have one of the servers run hardcore ff on. the fast rank server would be ideal. since if you wanna rank up fast. you need to be able to have full stopping power with your guns and need full support from your squad to live. i play on a couple hardcore ff servers and the game play is much much better. there no noob rocket spamming. snipers are usualy a one shot kill if its a kill shot. but thats just realistic. but taking out snipers is much easier as 2 solid shots and there down.. rather then 4 or 5 shots cause the dmg is nurfed in norm mode. just a suggestion. i prefer realism hardmode ff . with or without tanks is fine with me. just a suggestion.. who else likes hard mode?
No. Hardcore BF = complete noobsauce and a bunch of asshats sitting back camping and not playing the objectives (mostly snipers). If anything stock is much more challenging and is what we have had success with in past BF titles. For the most part everyone that I have talked to around here shuns away from HC BF servers. Also keep in mind our (2) 32/slot servers are temporary configs until the Rush 3rd person camera glitch is patched and the Back to Karkand expansion is released.
I have yet to try a HC BF3 server, so I can only speculate in this response. With FF on and nerfed health I would imagine that the pace of play would slow down dramatically. I think it would be fun in some scenarios but for a pub server setup I do not think it would match UAN's desired game style. UAN seems to lean towards a run and gun style of play. With that said, I would be more than willing to jump onto a HC server with you miller and try it out.
Agree with the whole Camp/Noobsauce post. Hell, we have a hard enough time getting people to actually play Team Orientated gamestyle now. Hardcore lends itself only to TDM in my opinion & if your gonna play that....Buy CoD.
