SO, I got my mic from helmut, yay! But there's a problem, I cant get it to work with TS. The first time, it worked for 30 minutes, then started making a horrible screeching noise. Then it would happen randomly. I'm using Soundblaster Live! 5.1 digital (dell) soundcard. I did a fair share of searching and found many topics and posts on the teamspeak forum all saying the same thing: TS wont work consistently with SOundblaster Live! I found a new driver version tonight and installed it (feb 04). Teamspeak worked great for like 4+ hours. Even tabbing in and out of cod2 while running MSN, XFire, mozilla and whatnot; I couldn't 'make' it screech. Then all of a sudden, boom. 10 minutes ago it goes nuts for no reason. I don't have this problem with ventrilo or any other program that utilizes a microphone. According to the TS forums, there's no cure for this, but I know we're smarter than that....right? If I remember right, they said it's because of an issue with Direct X 9. Oh well, any help would be appreciated.
