UAN Welcomes Black Ops First Strike

    Ok I went ahead and changed the map rotation on the Black Ops ranked server.

    The server is now the IP: 208.167.235.196:3094

    The server is now on an all First Strike map rotation featuring these maps:
    1. Stadium
    2. Berlin Wall
    3. Discovery
    4. Kowloon
    It's a mixed game modes server now (more specifically Team Tactical) running TDM, Demolition, CTF, and S&D on all of the above listed maps. Because Treyarch/Activison are some stingy bastards they don't give us access to the sv_maprotation. So you have to select a preset playlist and then enable/disable gametypes and features that you want, which makes the map rotation a bit screwy.

    Please provide any and all input on the server config, we can't dial-in the servers the way you want them without hearing from you. If you have a suggestion on disabling a particular game type on a certain map let us know about it here.

    Webrcon still doesn't work and the person that made it (not me) doesn't feel like messing with it.. So.. I'll see if I can get it working tonight.... ha

    I've been far too busy to even play games, let alone work on the Web Rcon. Personally, I would just recommend we use the RCON tool that was distributed by Treyarch at least until I get around to working on it. Either that or we look at a different Web Rcon (of which there are several).

    There are a few really interesting server messaging mods out there.

    I even found one that has a TK forgiving system. Based upon which route we take with the server, we could run a fairly nice server I am sure.

    I fully expect everyone who has first strike (I will be procuring it this evening), to hop on the server and test it out. I also expect that any UAN member would love to do their part in getting the server hopping when they are available to do so. As with every other server we have, you have to do the work if you want to reap the rewards.

    I know that ppl with the ps3 are exchanging the strike pack with each other,dont know if in the pc community is happening the same..it should by the way.
