I am running COD2 and COD4 on our server in W7 just fine. PB is not causing any problems that I know of. May be a little lag, but hell that is PB as normal. Glad you got it up and going.

You can get it right from Microsoft. 7100 has no pb problems, 7600 I read didn't either. I had one that didn't work, but I don't remember the build.

I believe you can use the RC for a while without problems. I believe they expire next year sometime.

If you go to the start menu and type into the search "winver", and hit enter it will tell you when your copy expires. Mine is in March.

W7 Home Premium or Pro (you can choose after you click through the email confirm link) for $30 if you have an .edu email addr:

My alumni .edu email worked so booyah. Now, should I go with 32-bit or 64-bit? How's 64-bit driver support nowadays? No clue since I skipped Vista.

Get x64. The support is great, and if a program/driver doesn't have an x64 version, then W7 will install it in a separate folder (Program Filees(x86)), and run it in 32-bit mode (That actually started in Vista).
