Finished installing Windows 7, it's working great! just for $30 hahaha
I also bought a back up cd for $13.

I was wondering... should I back up the expandedSetup thats sitting on my desktop?
also DLMWin7HP64US, setup1.box, seetup2.box, and Win7-HP-Retail-en-us-x64. or can i just delete these files?

    Upgraded from Vista... that's what i believed. Since I already bought a back-cd, i don't need this.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Shark @ Oct 27 2009, 04:54 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div> Yea, I had that very problem, but just created a bootable ISO from the "expandedSetup" dir that the setup did manage to extract. Instructions are here.
Just clean install from that and it's all good.

Been running win7 the past 2 days and surprisingly, it's actually well behaved. Haven't felt this good about an ms win product since win95.
