    hello all im having trouble installing cod 2 ,i click on mp it comes up with your settings have changed,i click yes, and all it does is put a black box on the left hand side ,with a box saying mp exe is not working ?close this program any ideas

    What build of W7 are you trying to run COD2 on? I have COD2 installed and running fine on a machine with W7 x64 RTM.

    I had a fair amount of problems with the 7100 build and older apps. I would suggest updating W7 to a newer build 7229 or 7600.

    that is weird, I have w7 ultimate x86 and works fine, what firewall do you have?

    Did you try setting mp exe to Run as Administrator?

    I had some save profile issues on win7 x64 having to deal with the UAC protection mechanism, but doesn't exactly sound like your problem.

    yes tried admin ,and running in every win on list lol,it set of with its not in library,then mp.exe wont start ,make sure its in the right folder or something,its in x86 program files,i double click icon,tarts to load,shows picture at start,then little grey box appears ,cant start looking for a way to start it,over the top of a black box which is over to the left???????????///
